About Us

Mark Farmer, Owner of 4 Square Construction, Mark Farmer Custom Homes and Builderwise Solutions.

Mark and his wife Erin have been in Parker County for over a decade and currently three of their four children attend school in the Aledo ISD.

Mark has over 25 years experience in both residential and commercial construction and owns three companies that are all construction related. Mark Farmer Custom Homes is a custom home building company focusing on customer satisfaction while being financially responsible on the customers’ behalf. Mark’s personal service, attention to detail, and dedication to quality create a positive and enjoyable building experience. 4 Square Construction is a commercial construction company which builds small to mid-size commercial buildings as well as tenant finish out and commercial remodeling. Builderwise Solutions provides consultation, construction management, and back office services in the building and real estate arena.

Mark is a member of the Parker County Builders Association of which he served as president for two terms, a member of the Greater Fort Worth Builders Association where he has severed on the board of directors, and a member of the Texas and National Association of Home Builders. Mark has been a member of the Business Development Group of Aledo since its inception. He served on the Planning and Zone Commission for the City of Aledo for five years, three of which he served as the chairman.

The principles of our customer philosophy apply to everyone.


Our commitment to our customers begins with our advertising. The process of making promises continues as prospects visit our homes and home sites, talk with our sales agents, and sign our contract. The buyer’s selections as well as our limited warranty and our commitment to doing business with integrity all come together to form a promise upon which every Mark Farmer Custom Homes’ buyer can rely. Every communication, whether by demonstration, in writing, or in conversation, must be as forthright, complete, and accurate as possible. Each commitment will be clearly and completely documented.

On Time

On time means within 24 hours of the closing date to which we commit in our 45-Day delivery letter. No commitment will be made until we know we can deliver the home. Our customers cannot schedule their move based on guesses or intentions. Prior to the 45-Day letter, customers can request updates of our target date.

In Good Condition

A Mark Farmer Custom Home will be delivered complete, with each component functioning properly and each element cosmetically correct per your Homeowner Orientation Walk. Details that do not fulfill the promise made to the customer will be corrected within 10 days unless other scheduling is arranged with the customer.

We will always keep in mind that we are in business to serve others. To provide that service grudgingly or reluctantly defeats our purpose. Courtesy and respect are not extras but are the right of each of our customers. They are part of our product.
